Engaged!

I'm extremely happy to announce that I'm engaged to beautiful and talented drummer, Ms. Maiko Ono!!

She's a wonderful, wonderful person, and having her in my life is the best thing that's happened to me, ever.
At first I wasn't sure about having a drummer girlfriend, but actually it's very cool.
We dig each other's playing, we inspire each other and support each other (we're both drummers after all, so we know every little detail of a drummer's life) - now I'm very glad that I'm with her!

Congratulations on your engagement!

You might not remember me (hope you do), but we were in the same class (4-2) at Liceo in Mexico. That was almost 26 years ago... Mr. Furuhashi was our wonderful teacher, and I have never ever forgot about those days until now.

Just a week ago, I finally decided to look for my best teacher in my life and I found him! To my surprise, it was easier than I imagined.. As soon as I emailed him, he contacted me and gave me "Katoyan"'s address.
Then, Katoyan told me what our old friends are up to; that's how I got to your website.

I'm so impressed that you are a musician in NY!! Good for you!

Can't wait for the day to see each other again. I really miss that good old days in Mexico.
